Early Years Funding – the lowdown...

At Ladybirds, we are able to provide funded places for two, three and four year olds.

The funding is available at the beginning of each new term, following your child’s 2nd or 3rd birthday. Please see below for further details…

  • For families receiving some form of financial support with two year old children, we can offer 15 hours per week, term time only and funded hours can only be used between 9.30am and 2.30pm.
  • For the new working families funding for 2 year olds from April 2024, 15 hours per week can be accessed on a term time only basis or 11 hours per week, all year round and these can be used between 8.00am and 4.30pm.
  • Each child will receive a total of 570 hours split over three terms during the academic year, deopending on the term in which they are eligible.
  • For all families with 3 and 4-year-old children.
  • We can offer 15 hours per week, term time only or 11 hours per week, throughout the year.
  • Funded hours can only be used between 8.00am and 4.30pm.
  • Each child will receive a total of 570 hours split over three terms during the academic year, depending on the term in which they are eligible.
  • For working families with 3 and 4 year old children.
  • We can offer 30 hours per week, term time only or 22 hours per week, throughout the year.
  • Funded hours can only be used between 8.00am and 4.30pm.
  • A total of 1,140 hours split over three terms during the academic year, depending on the term in which they are eligible.
